Trans women are taking the underground and experimental pop world by storm - a movement exemplified here by “The Ballad of Mary Magdalene”. Magda’s haunting, slurred vocals atop a pulsing electronic beat create a sound that is somehow both nostalgic and futuristic at the same time.  

The track is featured on the New York artist’s debut album Evangeliion, which follows single releases throughout 2018 and 2019, the most recent being “DownLoad”.
