"Blooming" by Graves

On this angst anthem, Graves claims to be “blooming in reverse”, wilting or retreating, losing vitality. And yet, this track is bursting with life - waterfalls of guitars, scattershot drums, and emotional vocals from the singer-songwriter. Most relatable lyric: “I feel like a Sim, I feel like I’ve sinned/All my stats are in red, I’m just dust in the wind.”

“Blooming” is a standout track from Graves’ second album in 2019, La Luna, which was released following their debut Sueños earlier this year.
