On her newest single, Kit Major takes a left turn. “I’m Bitter!” finds her trading in the polished dance pop of earlier bops “Solo Disco” and “Pray 2 Pop” for a radio-friendly pop-rock sound straight out of 2002.

The track is framed around her conflicting feelings over a recent breakup, with a stellar bridge illustrating that sweet/sour divide perfectly with some clever wordplay as “Bitter that you’re gone” becomes “Better that you’re gone.”

“I’m Bitter!” is Kit Major’s first release of 2022 and serves as the lead single from her upcoming debut EP.
