99jakes brings their hardcore-inspired sound a few inches closer to pop on “Liquid”. The atmospheric, ravey build in the verse echoes the head rush of infatuation, which gives way to a twinkling chorus with the wholesome lyrics “I love you yeah I really do/Hanging with you makes me feel super cool.”

“Liquid” is the most recent single from the Santa Fe-based artist. Previous releases this year include the singles “Touch Like” and “225”.
