"Scared" by Glitter Moneyyy

NO TREND RECORDS | 2019

The forces of conservatism often make out progressives and leftists to be scary, formidable threats to everything their voter base holds dear. On this slow-rolling manifesto, Chicago’s Glitter Moneyyy takes up that mantle with pride, making it clear that protectors of the status quo - whether that be racist police officers or Mitch McConnell - are right to be afraid. “Our glitter uprisings begun/Sinister, socialist, sparkling, scum/Schemin’ n thievin’ yo guns/Knaw on the heels of the rich, yum!”

“Scared” is a standout track from Glitter Moneyyy’s second album Binge released earlier this year.
