On her fiery new single, Backxwash starts with a mumble, her energy and anger building like a gathering storm until it bursts in the chorus as she shouts the lyrics “I fuck with black magic!” over atmospheric, shadowy production.

“Black Magic” is the first release from the Zambian-Canadian rapper since her album Deviancy earlier this year. Proceeds from the album supported the Nationz Foundation and Project 10.
