2019 has been a standout year for women in rap, and “Ice” by Vze and Jaye Naima is a worthwhile inclusion among the top rap tracks of the year. Jaye Naima spits out flexes and threats over ominous trap production from Vze. Jaye assures the listener that they don’t want to mess with her, rapping “I’ll take a bitch out/And knock a bitch down.” 

“Ice” is hyperpop producer Vze’s first release since his album Vzepop, Vol. 2 earlier this year. It is Jaye Naima’s first collaboration, following her two 2019 singles “PSA” and “Kitty Drop”.
