Emily Blue combines the doomed, nostalgic romance of a Lana del Rey song with the power guitars of Heart’s “Alone” to create something greater than the sum of it’s parts. “I still feel like I’m seventeen,” she laments over an explosive chorus.

”17” is the latest release from the Chicago artist, following the excellent single “Bad Decisions” over the summer and the expansion of her *69 EP from last year.
